Power of Zero exists to secure the human qualities young people need to flourish in the age of AI. Founded in 2021, we partner with researchers, schools, and technology leaders to help the next generation develop the kindness, resilience, and judgment that AI cannot replace.
OUR STORY
Growing up in the Age of AI
Childhood is undergoing its biggest transformation since the Industrial Revolution. As artificial intelligence reshapes that world further, technology is transforming how young people think, relate, learn, and understand themselves.
Digital technologies bring extraordinary possibilities for education, creativity, and connection. But they are also reshaping attention, relationships, and identity at the exact time young people are developing the emotional and moral foundations they need to thrive — and around the world, educators and parents are seeing the cost: rising anxiety, loneliness, online conflict, and cyberbullying.
At stake is more than academic success or digital safety. Empathy, kindness, resilience, creativity, and the capacity for genuine human connection don’t develop automatically — they need to be intentionally nurtured as childhood itself changes.
We are educators, researchers, NGOs, foundations and technology leaders who have come together to secure the best qualities of humanity in the next generation.
